I wanted to add an OTF to my collection. I did not want to spend a fortune on one, so I landed on the AKC X-treme EVO OTF. I am pleased with my purchase. The blade deploys quickly and reliably. Of course the blade is AUS-8, the handle is painted aluminum and there is blade play but all is to be expected from this type of knife. This is a toy; fun to play with, open letters and cut… read more a little cardboard, but I'm not gonna carry it around. I'd recommend if you just want an OTF knife to play with and don't want to break the bank. It has yet to fail to deploy.
