This was one of my first Bear Edge purchases I made along with a Bear Edge Sidewinder at the same time, both great knives. For the money, you get a solid, quality, and super fidgety flipping folding knife that is USA-made. The bearing action with the flipper tab is very good and the deployment action with the thumb studs is insanely good. I'm mostly a flipper type of guy but I find… read more myself opening this knife more often with the thumb studs because it just feels great! You get a hollow ground 440 stainless steel blade that is thin on the edge for good slicing, but a little beefier on the spine and tip for added strength. The blade on mine was perfectly centered with good detent, easily manipulated one-handed, and fall shutty. This is one of the most satisfactory fidgeting knives I own and it makes a great EDC working knife. For the price and what you get, you really can't go wrong with the Bear Edge Sideliner.
