The Amicus is nearly perfect, but it has some short comings. The aluminum body lacks texture, making it rather difficult to retrieve, albeit is does slip into the pocket flawlessly. I also found that my stubby difficult to retrieve and fire quickly largely because of my stubby fingers and its smoothness. There is a noticeable sound coming from the spring on closure, not sure if its getting louder our I didn't notice it at first
As for the workmanship, size, weight, blade design and metallurgy. Watt can I say, it is a perfect gentleman's EDC. I've been EDC'ing Valet (485) for some time and the larger size really fits the bill.
