About Boker Plus Slike Manual OTF Knife Black G-10 (2.9" SW) 01BO411
The Boker Plus Slike is a manual Boker OTF that will be the perfect pocket companion for you. Named after the German word for "slide", the Slike uses a satisfyingly-sleek thumb slide mechanism to open. The button lock secures the blade open until it's time to put back in your pocket, when a quick press of the release button slides the blade back into the handle. The blade is a classic dagger design made from D2 steel, a material used in the manufacturing of tools for its great edge retention and hardness. The handle is made from durable G-10 fiberglass laminate and features a window slot so you can see the Slike's dagger blade and traditional fuller even when the blade is closed. The durable steel, easy grip, and unique design make this an everyday carry that can open boxes and impress a crowd!Boker has been making blades for centuries! Not a hard use knife, or even primary EDC if you do anything other than light cutting tasks.
I purchased this knife for its design, and its perfect on that front. Incredibly light, its basically a sliver of G10 around a screaming sharp 3 inch D2 dagger blade. Take the pocket clip off and it disappears in the fifth pocket completely.

Cool little knife, comes with a torx wrench and a zippered pouch, but...
There's a lot of blade "play" when open, sort of scary when using the blade.
But definitely a keeper!
Know what you're getting into before buying and you'll be pleasantly surprised

I knew what to expect when I first saw this design and unlike the other reviewer, I find the Bker Slike to be a sturdy enough tool. I own the Kershaw Kapsule also and yes it's different but not necessarily better, the d2 steel is far better than the Kershaws 8cr13mov. It's slim and light but sturdy enough given the construction, for the record all manual OTF knives even the Reate… read more Exo have at the minimum side-to-side play due to the design sometimes even front-to-back blade play. I'm happy with the build for the price point and materials and have no regrets with my purchase.

Ive only handles 2 manual otfs the kershaw kapsule and this one. This one is very thin not sturdy i tried to tighten the screw on the back that holds the actuation button and it was bending the g10 scale. I feel the the kapsule is built better.
