This Harpoon folding knife has a 416/52100 San Mai steel blade with a thumb stud opener. The handle features "Skulls" mosaic Damascus bolsters and carbon fiber scales over titanium liners, with lock tab. The steel back spacer is filed, along with the liners and blade spine. This knife includes a signed certifiCATe of authenticity, dated 4/2/15.Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his enthusiasm for knife-making in 1987 when he cReated his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary Knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
