This Shard FLipper #1 is a stellar knife from Burr Oak with a San Mai 416/52100 Damascus steel drop point blade, "Zombie" mosaic Damascus bolsters, and shred carbon fiber scales. The titanium liners and steel backspacer are fileworked. This knife comes with a signed certifiCATe of authenticity, dated 7/28/15.Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his enthusiasm for knife-making in 1987 when he cReated his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary Knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
