The Cold Steel Facon fixed blade knife has a Malaysian Sal Wood handle and a foot-long 1090 high carbon steel blade. It comes housed in a beautiful leather sheath with a decorative metal tip. If you google Facon, you'll probably be bombarded with information about vegan bacon. It's a little ironic that the Facon was the knife found on the hip of South American Gouchos. They'd use this massive blade for everything from butchering animals, clearing trails, chopping down trees, battling their enemies, etc. All the essentials. And in Cold Steel fashion, this reproduction of an ancient tool is ready for real, hard use.
