Pushing the limit of field strip tech?
As a huge fan of Ken Onion designed knives, this one just missed slightly on the execution. It is a thing of beauty and the knife feels great in the hand. This knife is very light and much of that lightness is achieved through a thin, hollow ground blade which is a KO staple. I feel that the field strip pivot has too much drag for the weight of the blade. It just won't snap like… read more so many others and feels sluggish. It was improved slightly by polishing the pivot contact surfaces on the blade and lubing everything. Time will tell I suppose.
