The CRKT Tecpatl was designed by Army Special Forces veteran Michael R. Rodriguez in collaboration with the Forged By War program. This unique line of Knives offers mission critical tools designed by veterans for veterans. 10% of all Forged By War profits are donated to the designer veteran's charity of choice. The Tecpatl was designed by Michael Rodriguez to provide an Ergonomically flawless weapon for Combat fighting.Named for the traditional Aztec close quarters fighting knife, the Tecpatl celebrates Michael Rodriquez's heritage while providing an essential Combat tool. The blade is made from SK5 high carbon steel with a black powder coating for corrosion resistance. It has a unique handle design that offers multiple hand deployments for managing any close Combat scenario. A molded Kydex sheath keeps the Tecpatl close with a variety belt or pack attachment options. Michael finishes off the knife with a sugar skull design filled with symbols that pay homage to the Special forces, Green Berets and the Office of Strategic Services.Features:SK5 high carbon steel provides a strong blade with a corrosion resistant black powder coating.Unique handle design offers multiple hand deployments for diverse close Combat scenarios.Molded kydex sheath is spring loaded with a MOLLE compatible gear clip for quick blade access.
