About Demko Knives AD20
The Demko Knives AD20 is the next big thing in the EDC world, offering a top-quality folder at a fair price. It is as fun to fidget with as it is practically functional, which is largely thanks to the Shark Lock: a radical new system that provides solid lockup and can be trusted to keep your fingers safe. The lock is operated by pulling the fin back with your thumb or index finger—a motion similar to using a fLipper opener. When the blade is locked open, the fin serves as a comfortable thumb ramp, which is jimped to increase your control over the knife. Additional jimping on the spine and a high grip option also contribute to the knifes usability. I’ll start by saying I’m a Demko fanboy from his C.S. days and customs. I like the shark lock although mine came very sticky and I have to slightly pry back on it for smooth action. This one came with side-to-side blade play which I was able to tune out, it also has a slight lock rock that I assume will break in overtime. The biggest issue I have is it didn’t come sharp, and…

I can’t seem to get an edge I’m happy with on it. It’s like the aus10 is crumbling when I try to sharpen it, maybe a heat treat issue I’m no expert. Overall disappointment, for the price factoring in the materials, used I expected top-notch fit and finish to justify it. Not recommendable at this point, hopefully, they improve with time.
