I wanted this for 3 reasons. A novelty adult toy, a ice pick for use at work (2 bars and 1 restaurant at my hotel) and as an emergency stabber. Fires hard and true. Has some blade play.... no big deal tho. Already used it at work twice to chop up ice and it performed great. I have no issues with it so far other than the pocket clip. I removed it tho.
I might even buy a 2nd one…

Just got one of these delivered today. It works as advertised, and you can't complain based on the price. My only qualm is that you really do need a hard surface to retract it against. The bottom of your shoe or even a hard wooden table do not seem to do the trick. Concrete floor or a metal table do work. Therefore, while we all enjoy playing with our toys, your wife or your mother… read more will not appreciate you denting up the house trying to find a hard enough surface to close this thing. Also- in the 20 minutes I've owned it the safety actually sets off the release mechanism about every 1 in 4 attempts when you try and rotate it into place. Not exactly ideal. Maybe mine is faulty but just a heads up to future customers and also all of you at blade hq. Thanks for the fantastic service and the handwritten notes, they are always a joy.
