ALMOST perfect BUT ...

OK - I love almost everything about the RECON-035. I have purchased a couple in various colors, blade finishes, and blade profiles. The steel is great. The action is super smooth. The pocket clip isn't super deep carry but it's good enough. The Elmax steel is great and the knife is sharp. The one flaw that is a big deal for me is that when the blade is retracted, the tip sticks… read more out just enough that you can slice your finger if you run your finger across the front of the knife. I have cut myself twice just running my finger tip across the front of a closed knife. The blade is about a millimeter too long. This seems to be more problematic with tanto blades but isn't limited to JUST the tanto blades. I really with Guardian Tactical would fix this design flaw.
