Great Little Knife

This little knife fits my large hands remarkably well. Very comfortable and agile blade. Kudos on the design. I got four Knives of Alaska (KOA) knives because of the D2 steel. I put convex edges on my knives using Chosera or Shapton Glass bench stones (white), and it took a long time to get the edges right. KOA D2 is very resistant to sharpening, but when you finally get there,… read more they get scary sharp. Remarkably sharp, and if they hold their edge half as long as it takes to sharpen, they should hold their edge a long long time. They are very amenable to stropping. With a good sharpening job, and occasional stropping, these knives should hold their outstanding cutting edges for many years without needing another sharpening. This is a small cutting knife, not a bushcraft knife. For the price, it is a great practical blade and a great value.
