Grail knife for good reason
after a little over a month of using this knife, I am even more enamored with it than I was over the years I had it on the top of my grail list. the transition from the broom handle style micarta handle to the exposed spine is so smooth, it is hard to feel it without looking, the fit and finish is so precise and smooth that there are absolutely zero hot spots even after a couple… read more of hours of bushcrafting tasks. the 90 degree spine came out of the box sharper than some knives I have bought can boast for their cutting edge. while shaving the bark off of a limb to process for firewood, it actually shaved the knot as well. it is sized perfectly for the tasks around camp that a bushcrafter needs to do. and the spear point is perfectly centered, so drilling divots for a fire board is easy, in conjunction with the very smooth rounded pommel, it was effortless, and the result was a very even round divot.
