About LT Wright Genesis
With the Genesis LT Wright Knives were born. Appropriately named for the first knife to come out of the stable, the Genesis grabbed the blade world’s attention and LT and crew haven’t looked back. This Kephart inspired knife has a full sized handle for maximum comfort and a full exposed tang for maximum toughness in just about any cutting situation. A Great Scandi Bushcraft Knife

I bought this knife over 3 years ago from DLT. I bought it for general bushcrafting. I’m not hardcore by any means, but I enjoy being in the outdoors and processing wood. I’ve used it for light whittling as well as battoning firewood. It held up fine to all of those tasks. The matte micarta handle is very comfortable for me and one of the things I enjoy most with the knife.… read more I wear a size large Mechanix glove and the handle works perfectly for me. The CPM3V steel holds it’s edge well and I can maintain an edge with just a strop. The sheath fits the knife well. I purchased mine with the matching LTW firesteel and I’m so glad I did. The combo in the sheathe is a great combo.

The LT Wright Genesis scandi grind I originally ordered had a green Micarta handle and was on sale. I also ordered a green Micarta handle fire Steel. I received an email from Mary telling me that the knife was not available. But they would give me the black Micarta with matching firesteel for the same price ( the black was not on sale). Being honest and taking care of your customer… read more is a rare thing these days. I would like to thank Mary and the staff at DLT Trading for what they did and let them know the knife is everything I expected it to be.

Absolutely amazing knife. I've never had an A2 steel blade and I'm pretty impressed. It's the perfect size knife for everything I do in the woods. Perfect bush knife if you ask me. DLT was on time with the delivery as expected.

I recently received my FFG Genesis and it has become my favorite knife. I have been using it for everything.

If you want to use this knife for bushcraft uses buy the scandi grind. I own both version and I'm not sure what to do with this one. The knives LT produces are amazing but flat ground just isn't for me or the tasks I want the knife to do. I figured to give it a shot and its not for me. If you want a flat ground knife then buy it now it will serve you well its worth every penny.

One thing Wright has always done is produce a great fit and finish on their knives. This one is no exception, in fact its boring talking about it as their work is always perfect. The designs are always useful and simply work. Combine this with the fast shipping that DLT always does and its a no brain enjoyable experience to get a knife like this.

I was shipped a GNS by Mistake but I loved it so much I kept it. The guys at DLT are really excellent at customer service. I will hopefully be able to pick up a BarkRiver BushBat sometime soon.

I love this knife. Handle is surprisingly functional in all grips, the scandi grind is SHARP! Wow. Awesome knife as far as I'm concerned. My quest ended when I bought it.
