I have never owned a knife like this before. I like knives that catch my eyes and are different. This one did just that. It feels very good in the hand and it is razor sharp. The band aid you see on my thumb in the picture is from a cut I got from the spine of the knife not the blade, thank goodness! The spine is squared sharp for the Firesteel so be careful pressing your thumb…

The compact size is what I really like about it. It carves great, feathers, slices etc. etc just like you see in the YouTube videos. It’s well made. The sheath is nice too. I picked up a Firesteel at a large local sports store that starts with an “A” and it’s a perfect match I sparked the Firesteel with the spine no problems at all. I really like it and would certainly buy it again and I’m actually tempted to get another one.
