About Ontario RAT Model 2 Liner Lock Knife Coyote Brown (3" Black) 8861CB
This RAT MODel II has a textured coyote brown nylon handle and a black finished AUS-8 stainless steel blade with a plain cutting edge.If you like the Ontario RAT MODel 1, but want something a little less bulky, then you'll love the MODel 2. The RAT MODel II is based on the popular MODel I, it's smaller, but retains the same great shape and performance of the original. This knife is designed for comfort and performance with an index finger groove on the handle to keep your hand where it should be and jimping on the spine of the blade for controlled cutting. The handle features textured nylon 6 scales with an open-built steel liner lock frame. The RAT MODel 2 is fully ambidextrous with dual thumb studs and a 4-way reversible pocket clip.

The Rat 2 is a perfect knife for EDC. It's affordable, good size, ergonomic, and surprisingly fun to use. It fits very well in the pocket due to it's slender profile. The action is incredibly smooth for a knife of this price. Minor gripes are that the black coating chips off easily, which could be annoying for some people (myself included), and the blade isn't centered (at least… read more on mine). Overall however, the Rat 2 is a great buy and I would highly recommend it!

I got this knife a few months ago and all my other knives are jealous. This knife has had more pocket time than any of my other knives. It is the perfect blade length for my uses, it's lightweight, and its action is amazing. Opening this thing is addicting, it is FAST. Did I mention the color? Because it's sick.
