About Paragon Para X OTF Torch Automatic Knife Smooth Black (3.5" Orange)
This PARA-X Torch edition features a collectible kriss style blade with a flame shape and an orange finish. The handle is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with tactical black hardware.The Paragon PARA-X OTF knife is the next generation of the ATKO-10. This Asheville Steel automatic is a single action out-the-front knife, just push the button and the blade fires out the front of the handle. To close the blade just press the button and use the retracing lever to pull the blade back in. The PARA-X has a sliding safety under the firing button and a pocket clip for easy tip-down carry. Made in the USA and new in box.

Ive been a cutlery user and collector for over 50 years. I have a tendency to lean my collecting desires to knives that have a certain WOW! factor, making my collection a bit more unique. Which actually brings me to my reason for purchasing this product. Unfortunately, the WOW factor of this knife wore off rather quickly.

The blade retracts fine because it does so manually. However, when I press the button to release the blade to extend, it has NEVER sprung to its full length to lock into place. Also, the coloring on the blade has been coming off along the centerline ridge. I wholeheartedly DO NOT RECOMMEND this product! I only gave it 2 stars because I thought the design was cool. So much for first impressions.
