About Paragon PARA-XD Tanto OTF Auto Knife Smooth (Blue Line Serr)
This PARA-XD MODel features a blue finished S30V stainless steel tanto blade with a plain primary cutting edge and partially serrated spine. The handle is solid black coated 6061-T6 aluminum with tactical black hardware.The Paragon PARA-XD OTF knife is the next generation of the ATKO-10. This Asheville Steel automatic is a single action out-the-front knife, just push the button and the blade fires out the front of the handle. To close the blade just press the button and use the retracing lever to pull the blade back in. The PARA-XD has a sliding safety under the firing button and a pocket clip for easy tip-down carry. Made in the USA and new in box.

Great knife after many months

Don't let the bad or ok reviews scare you, this is an EDC carry knife meant for cutting I've had mine for a while now still work great and the simplicity of operation and disassembly to clean is A+, yeah sure the middle paint may rub off after a while from it sliding but come on now I'm a man with a working man's needs of cutting and blade retention and hardness great knife and… read more the actual guy that makes these is a fast responder to any questions.
Something of a Disappointment

I have owned an OTF Paragon before. This one however was something of a disappointment. 1. The handle was bigger than my previous out the front Paragon, making this one feel bulky and less comfortable to handle. 2. The blade was sloppy going out. It was clunky and not smooth as it came out. 3. After firing it only five times, the blade did not come out all the way! I sent it back… read more to Paragon, and they replaced the knife and threw in a free gift. After taxes, this knife was closer to $225. Any knife over $200 should be dependable and work whenever fired. Paragon usually produces some high quality auto knives; so maybe this was an anomaly!
