Great Knife!
This knife is an exquisite example of fit and finish. No gaps, wiggle, or imperfections of any kind. The blade's finish is absolutely beautiful and it is perfectly centered. More great work by Pro-Tech, and worth every penny.

I have had the Pro-tech BR-1 for a month and a half. The knife has been in daily use; still has a slight "wiggle" when locked open, but has not loosened up any more. Very nice to carry, easy to close one handed unlike other auto knives. I gave it an additional star from first review. Good design.
Pro-Tech "whiskers" BR-1; Very nice design but...
Received the Pro-Tech "whiskers" Br1 yesterday from DLT (fast service). I like the design but was disappointed when I opened the knife. It locks open but the blade has a slight "wiggle" side to side and up and down. Called DLT This morning and was told that was normal. I'll keep the knife but if you want a solid lockup I'd buy a Benchmade automatic. The ones that I have handled… read more lockup solid compared to the Pro-Tech. The knife was production run #5.
