Standard Penguin is better
Bought this to replace my micarta Penguin after beating it up and not being a fan of micarta (it was my first micarta knife).
I might have received a bad one but the clip was extremely loose even with the screws fully tightened. After comparing the hole for the clip it was significantly larger than the micarta. Swapped the clips and that kinda worked but just doesn't look…

The CF is also very thin and has chipped a few places already in less than 2 weeks.
Overall still a fantastic knife, but I would recommend sticking with the micarta or wait for a little....they mentioned at Shot Show they might release a flipper version with an aluminum or copper foil outer layer
Side note: BladeHQ did offer a return but didn't want to go through it all after throwing out box and papers. Great service as always

Came sharp enough to shave some arm hair (not the most comfortable shave), and everything came tight and well fitted.
Plunge lines and edge alignment are perfect. The clip slides on and off just fine, and the screws, despite not being recessed, don't catch up on my jeans.
