Beautiful - but not prefect!

Let me be clear - this little skinner is gorgeous. The stag is beautiful and the blade is expertly polished and extremely sharp. I mean really sharp. And the leather sheath is one of the nicest I have ever seen provided with a knife, and I have been collecting knives since 1970 (the sheath is awesome). But... the stag grips are not 100% aligned to the meatal edge - top and bottom… read more - and you can feel a bit of metal on the back of your hand and finger tips when you handle the knife (not a sharp edge line - just there). If you are looking for "collectors perfection" you might wish to look elsewhere, and spend a few hundred dollars more. However at this price point, for what you get with this knife - a beautiful knife, real stag (not Chinese plastic) and awesome leather work... Well, I am a quite happy camper.
