This Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops folding knife is proof that you can fit a lot of detail into a smaller space. The 7Cr17MoV high carbon stainless steel tanto blade makes quick work of big taSKS and will hold up to yeARS of daily use. The thumb and spine jimping are complemented by the index finger groove and jimping to give you solid, secure grip for your more hard-core jobs. The frame lock makes sure the blade stays in place while it's in use, and the handles are skeletonized so they are lightweight and give you a comfortable feel. The black stonewashed finish is a favorite feature among knife enthusiasts, as is the right hand, tip-down carry pocket clip and the lanyard hole.

This little dude is excellent. Mine came perfectly tightened so it wasn't too hard to open at all. The ambidextrous stud is wonderful. It is so cute and small!! It fits perfectly in my wimpy lady pockets. The only complaint that I have about this knife is the pocket clip catches on the hem of my pocket and makes it kind of difficult to extract it from said pocket.It's my first tanto… read more blade, all my others are either clip point or drop point. So far I'm loving it. It's appropriately sharp. Affectionately named it Tanto for obvious reasons ;) Thanks for the great knife Blade HQ!!

Came sharp enough. Small, lightweight, tip down only. Mine came with the pivot so tight it wouldn't lock up at all, coupled with soft hardware, it was a bit of a fight to get it loosened. We got there though. Now at a 60% lockup. Not terrible for the price.
