New for Spartan Knives Bronze (Field) Grade Knives is their Oil Infused Bronze Bushing System, the bronze bushings are oil impregnated to give quick but smooth operation without needing to loosen the pivot. A great EDC with one annoying characteristic

Love Spartan Blades so thought I would try one of these cheaper ones. Great fit and finish, great steel, great handle materials but the very thin liner lock bar has quite the sharp edge that is painful and is difficult to use. Tried for a full 24 hours to get used to it but finally gave up and returned it.

While the Astor would probably be considered a mid-price foler, in my collection it performs well beyond that price expectation.
