Bram Frank, a martial arts "Hall of Fame" designed the Gunting specifically for Martial Blade Craft. The appendage on the upper side of the blade allows for kinetic opening by leveraging the blade against and object or opponent.The protrusions on the handle can be used as a Yawara stick for pressure point control to subdue an adversary or challenger. When we introduced the Gunting in 2000 we used our extra strength Compression Lock and included indexing/control divots in the handle and clip.This knife has found a following with law enforcement personnel as well as Martial Blade Crafters.The bladesteel is gollow ground CPMS30V with a black G10 handle. The metal clip has been specially designed for indexing and control.
