This Sprint Run Meerkat MODel has a blue FRN handle and a satin finished blade. The Meerkat was designed with a secret locking mechanism called a Phantom Lock. This pressure release locking system unlocks the blade by simultaneously sliding the handle scales in opposite directions. Although not visible, the lock's mechanics offer a safe, secure, and unique method of locking and unlocking the blade. It has a fiberglass reinforced nylon handle with angularly-shaped divots for better grip and Ergonomic comfort. The flat-ground blade comes in a MODified drop-point style with a plain edge and a satin finish. An ambidextrous deep pocket-wire clip positions the knife riding tip-down in a pocket. The MeerKat is small, acceptable for carry nearly anywhere and makes an enviable everyday carry piece.
