The Spyderco Saver Salt is a smaller sized rescue knife for any hand size. It is designed specifically for seafarers, rescue workers, EMT's, ranchers and anyone cutting around flesh in an emergency. The Saver Salt features H-1 steel, a precipitation-hardened steel containing nitrogen instead of carbon, which cannot rust. The edge retention compares to other high carbon knife steels but its most distinguishable characteristic is that its nitrogen based as opposed to carbon based. The flat saber-ground blade offers remarkable cutting performance in and around fresh and saltwater. The textured yellow fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handle features Volcano Grip and includes a lanyard hole. Comes with a reversible tip-up pocket clip.
