This Storm MODel is outfitted with a purple G-10 handle and a satin finished blade made from Bohler M390 steel.The Viper Storm features an impressive Rick Hinderer design with a solid Italian-made build from Viper Knives. It has a titanium liner lock handle with grippy G-10 scales. Dual thumb studs and a reversible titanium pocket clip offer a fully ambidextrous design. Thrust bearings provide rapid blade access when deployment time is critical. I have about 10 knives from Benchmade and Sypderco. This was my first Vipre and I was impressed. Fit and finish is right on par with the higher end Benchmade and Spyderco. Blade has nice shiny finish, beautiful design with really secure lockup even on lateral movement. Nice touches like engraving the logo instead of laser. The Bohler M390 blade is really hard with a sharp edge.… read more If you watch the video, you'll see the blade is a lot shinier compared to the photos.
