This Krake Raken MODel (formerly known as the Kraken), has a dual tone blue finished 7075 aluminum handle and a MODified tanto blade with a long swedge and a satin finish.The highly anticipated Krake Raken balisong butterfly knife offers the first live-blade bali from Squid Industries. It features all of the Precision engineered smoothness of a Squid trainer, updated with a beautifully finished tanto blade. The channel constructed aluminum handles are built with rounded edges, a crowned spine, and bushings. The Krake Raken has been upgraded from 6061 to a 7075 aluminum alloy, which boast a higher strength and is more durable to drops and use.Features:Channel constructed 7075 aluminum handles provide a strong, lightweight, and well-balanced design. AEB-L stainless steel for high blade strength and corrosion resistance.Bushings provide the ultra-smooth flipping action Squid Industries is known for.

Absolute best bang for your buck when it comes to flipping

Hands down the most fun flipper that is in production. Handles are a little slippery but tolerances are great and the flipping stupidly satisfying. I thought all the hype was because a lot of people started out on squid stuff but no, this bali stands on its own with no need of it's predecessors.

leaves a lot to be desired so if you're looking for knife-knife this isn't for you. If you're looking for something freaking awesome to flip at an affordable price (relatively) this knife beats most others in spades.
Longevity is yet to be seen but so far one of my absolute favorite flippers.
