About Microtech Ultratech D/E OTF Automatic Knife CC Orange (3.4" Black)
This Ultratech features a double-edged dagger blade with a black finish and plain edges. It has a contoured, orange anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a black finished pocket clip, glass breaker, and stainless steel hardware. Microtech equipped this version of the ever popular Ultratech D/A OTF knife with a smooth, contoured handle design that promotes increased comfort during use. This updated MODel provides the same dimensions, hardware, and durability offered by the "Tri-Grip" variation, but goes easier on the hands and pockets. For those unfamiliar with the Ultratech, it's a fully automatic knife with a double-action out-the-front mechanism, meaning the thumb slide deploys the blade and retracts it as well. The Ultratech knife from Microtech has set the bar for All OTF Knives.

This is my second ultratech, and they keep retaining the quality I expect from Microtech.

This is my first Microtech. I also own an Infidel 3300BK. This knife has very little blade movement when locked open. There is some wiggle, but slightly less than the Infidel. The fit and finish is great. The action is really quick and solid. The double edge blade was not as sharp as I expected, nor was it Elmax. Its 204, with which Im not familiar. It is much easier to justify $275 for this knife. The Infidel was considerably more. I really like this knife so far!

Wow! The burnt orange color is awesome with the black hardware. I own an Infidel and HK OTF but this Ultratech screams quality and is solid. It definitely wont be my last Microtech. Mine came with cts-204p steel. Thanks Blade HQ for super fast shipping!
